Mystery girl- This piece is my first grid drawing. it was inspired by a magazine clipping for an eyeliner ad. i really enjoyed creating this piece and learning all about contrast and value.

swinging from the moon-

The task for this project was to pick a style of art from a famous artist and use your own subject matter to create it in that style. I was inspired by the surrealism of the artist vladimir kush and his amazing pieces.

Frank lloyd wright- this piece was inspired by the famous architect frank lloyd wright and the "nathan g moore" house he created. this piece was created using the layering of oil pastels.

The lake- This watercolor piece is a self portrait of an image that has deep symbolism to me. In the image i am a the lake with a few girls from my youth group and we made the best memories! i tried to emphasize the excitement and how contempt i am in the art.

still life- This was a fun piece i created after school using charcoal. we stacked a buddha sculpture on top of a clorox wipe container and then put a wooden mannequin on top of it and attempted to draw it.

Elements and principals-

this piece was inspired by the various elements and principals of art. i used each flower to show an example of a element or principal while also trying to show how the two subjects are related

Magnolia Flower-

this piece was created in my 9th grade year and was inspired by a picture of a beautiful magnolia flower. This piece was very time consuming in regards to shading.

Tiki:lono-

this piece was inspired by the hawaiian culture and the tiki gods they had previously worshiped. I had so much fun making this piece and learning to sculpt.

Birch trees-

this piece was created to emphasize the way they sunset looks as it sets in between birch trees with snow. I loved the process involved with creating this piece and i really like how it turned out.
